The music industry is taking a fashionable stand with a cause. On September 5, 2008 Conde Nast Media Group will celebrate the Fifth Anniversary of Fashion Rocks at Radio City Music Hall. Performances include Kid Rock, Mariah Carey, Duffy and Chris Brown with many more. The proceeds will benefit Stand Up To Cancer.
Stand Up To Cancer is a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, a 501(c)(3)charitable organization, and was established by a group of media, entertainment and philanthropic leaders, whose lives have all been affected by cancer insignificant ways. This two-hour event, which is sponsored by Chevrolet, Citi, CoverGirl, Kohl’s, Nivea and Verizon Wireless will air on September 9, 2008 on CBS.
