Juice Recipes

A few months ago one of my readers suggested that I post some juicing recipes. Two of my favorites are green lemonade, something I drink every morning, and carrot juice. I learned of Green Lemonade through Natalia Rose’s book The Raw Detox Diet. The carrot juice recipe was on happy foodie (dot) com.


Green Lemonade
1 head romaine lettuce
5-6 leaves of dark leaf vegetables) of spinach, kale, collards, or celery
1 whole lemon
2 apples

Carrot Juice
1 cup carrot ginger juice (run carrots through juicer with thumb-sized knob of ginger)
1 cup almond milk or brazil nut milk (freshly made is always best!)
2 cups frozen sliced banana
Spice blend
(start with a generous pinch of each and adjust to taste)
CinnamonNutmeg (freshly ground is best)
Cardamom (freshly ground is best)
Clove Juice carrots and ginger.

Add to blender with frozen bananas, nut milk, and spices. Blend and drink!
