The Power of Parsley




Usually seen as decoration on your plate, parsley one herb that is extremely underrated. Before you throw away that piece of parsley that makes your meal look oh so colorful consider the health benefits of this unassuming wonder herb.


Eating parsley can help cleanse the blood, prevent bad breath, treat ear infections and it is known to have cancer fighting agents. The herb is also packed with vitamin C, A, K and Iron. Many individuals boil fresh parsley to make tea in order to reduce water retention.


There are many ways to consume parsley. Tabouli salad is primarily made of parsley, onions and tomatoes (other ingredients vary). Adding parsley to soup, vegetables, stew and salad are other wonderful ways to eat parsley.
