Readable Jewelry?

Not quite… but if you look close enough, you can see the printed writing. Thanks to about 20 Ugandan women who have come together and turned pieces of discarded newspapers and magazines into beaded jewelry.

With the importance of going green, incorporating the practice into your accessories is a perfect way to look and feel great. The items are very stylish and eccentric, and you will feel good knowing that you are doing your part to preserve the environment for future generations. The jewelry is reasonably priced between $20-$25 and the purchased items are the sole source of income for these talented women.

Wow I'm surprised! Jewelry made from paper! See they need to figure out a way to do something so we can recycle gasoline!
